“We confirm the published reports appearing on Timor Leste (TL) media — which have reached our country — to the effect that Rep. Arnolfo Teves has been ordered released from house arrest by the tribunal conducting extradition proceedings relative to the request made by the Philippine government,” suno kay Topacio.
Apang suno sa abogado ni Teves, ang pagrelease sa anay kongresista ang may yara sang mga kondisyon nga ginalakipan sang regular nga pagreport sa court officer kag commitment nga indi ini maghalin sa Timor Leste samtang pending ang extradition case.
“Otherwise, he has been restored to full liberty in accordance with the order of the TL high court’s voiding of the preventing detention order due to defects in the extradition request,” suno pa kay Topacio.
Ginkumpirmar man sang Department of Justice (DOJ) ang impormasyon nga ginrelease na si Teves gikan sa house arrest.
Suno sa DOJ, nakabaton sila sang mensahea gikan sa Central Authority sang Timor Leste nga natapos na ang house arrest ni Teves.
