Ginpirmahan na ni Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose ‘Bong’ Lacson ang Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) sang Negros Island Region Act.
Kaina sang udto ginpirmahan sang gobernador ang kopya sang IRR nga gindala mismo sang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Ginwitness naman sanday DILG provincial director Teodora Sumagaysay, Provincial Administrator Atty Rayfrando Diaz kag DILG Central Office Director Dennis Villasenor.
Nabutang sa IRR ang lista kun diin ihamtang ang mga opisina san national agencies.
Sa Negros Occidental ibutang ang Department of Agriculture, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Justice, Department of the Interior and Local Government , Philippine National Police, Department of National Defense, Department of Budget and Management, Department of Finance, National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Foreign Affairs, Commission on Audit, kag Commission on Elections.
Samtang sa bahin naman sang Negros Oriental amo ang Department of Education, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Commission on Higher Education, Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Transportation, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Energy, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Tourism kag Department of Science and Technology.
Samtang, mahimo pa naman nga ma-ammend ang IRR agud malakip ang pagbutang sang satellite offices sa Siquijor.
