Iga-base ang two-thirds vote sa numero sang mga senador nga aktwal nga nagapartisipar sa impeachment proceeedings.
Trese ka senator-judges ang nagboto pabor sa mosyon ni Senator-judge Erwin Tulfo, nga nagpangabay sang reconsideration natuhoy sa July 6 ruling matapos nga pila ka mga senador ang indi available nga makapartisipar sa impeachment trial.
Madumduman nga sang Hulyo 6, gin-set ni presiding officer Senator-judge Francis “Chiz” Escudero sa 16 ang voting threshold ukon ang two-thirds sang kabug-usan nga 24 ka senador.
Wala nakapahayag sa Article 11, Section 6 sang Konstitusyon ang eksakto nga numero apang nakapahayag diri nga “No person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two-thirds of all the Members of the Senate.”

Nagaisahanon naman ang “No” vote ni Escudero.
Samtang, ang anum ka senador sa minorya ang wala nagpartisipar sa voting, kalakip diri sanday: Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Pia Cayetano, Christopher Go, Imee Marcos, Robin Padilla, kag Camille Villar.
Nagpahayag naman si Defense team lead counsel Sheila Sison nga pagagamiton sang kampo ni VP Sara ang tanan nga legal remedies nahanungod sa bag-o nga threshold para sa conviction.
